The MP2 is a 2-axis motion platform that moves the seat on pitch and roll, accurately reproducing the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering. Like the M2, it moves only the seat rather than the full rig, keeping the wheel and pedal plates stationary. It is priced at $3,499 and sits above the M2 in the DOF Reality range.
The key mechanical difference in the PRO is an additional gearbox fitted to each motor. This extra gearing delivers increased smoothness across slow, subtle movements - an advantage in scenarios where fluid motion matters more than peak responsiveness.
The platform delivers a 16-degree range of motion, 50 cm/s (82 deg/s) of movement speed, 24 Nm of torque, and 0.3G of acceleration. Maximum pilot weight is 220 lbs (100 kg), power consumption peaks at 500 watts, and the frame is built from commercial-grade metal profiles.
Motion feedback is driven by SimRacingStudio software, which reads game telemetry to reproduce road bumps, surface texture, vibrations, gear changes, and impacts in real time. The MP2 is compatible with Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, and VR, and works with all major wheel and pedal setups. It can be upgraded to the H2, H3, or H6 full-platform models.
