The H2 flight/universal model is a full-motion simulator platform with two axes of movement - pitch and roll - that moves your entire cockpit as one unit: yoke, joystick, pedals, throttle, and monitor all shift with the seat. This is the defining feature of the HERO series, and it allows the platform to simulate g-forces through physical muscle pressure rather than visual effects alone.

Compared to the racing version of the H2, this model adds an extra gearbox on each motor. Those gearboxes are specifically designed to produce the slower, smoother movements that fixed-wing and helicopter flight requires - eliminating the jerkiness that would otherwise occur at low motion speeds. The same platform also runs helicopter and racing simulations without any compromise.

The platform uses an SFU (ball screw) drive mechanism and commercial-grade steel construction. It supports up to 330 lbs (150 kg), has a 20-degree motion range, delivers 25 Nm of torque, and moves at 50 cm/s (86 deg/s). It ships fully assembled and tested, then disassembled into two boxes - each 64 lbs - for transport, and reassembles with included tools.

Motion is controlled by SimRacingStudio software, which reads live telemetry to simulate runway texture, turbulence, buffeting, vibrations, and attitude changes through climb and descent. Supported titles include Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, DCS World, and X-Plane 12. VR headsets are supported with motion compensation.

DOF Reality has been producing motion platforms since 2014. The H2 is built to be upgradable - additional axes can be added later. A 1-year manufacturing warranty and 24/7 support are included.

H2 Hero ships from Poland. Delivery to the US takes approximately 3-4 weeks. The platform is fully assembled and tested, then disassembled for transport. The platform ships in two boxes with all reassembly tools and hardware included.
