The smoothest screen surface Carl's Place makes, and the one to buy if image quality is what you care about. Three layers of heavy-duty, tight-knit impact-resistant polyester are woven so tightly that the projected image shows no fabric texture at all - which is what separates a simulator picture that looks like a screen from one that looks like a golf course.
Each layer earns its place. The tight outer weave carries the image. The centre layer dampens sound, so the strike lands as a thud rather than a crack - a real consideration in a basement under a bedroom, or a commercial bay running all evening. The full stack absorbs impact energy, which keeps bounceback down and keeps the ball at your feet.
It also blocks ambient light from behind and holds up to golf balls travelling at up to 250 mph, tested for thousands of strikes at that speed.
Choose Premium if you can control the light in the room and want the brightest, cleanest picture. Choose the High-Contrast Gray version instead if the room has windows or commercial lighting. Step down to Preferred if you want a very good picture at a lower price, or Standard if this is a first simulator on a budget.
This is the screen alone. It mounts to a frame you build or already own - Carl's Place recommends 1 in EMT with the outer frame 4 inches taller and wider than the screen, hung with 6 in or 9 in ball bungees, and 12 to 16 inches of clear space behind the screen so the material can stretch freely.
Every screen is cut and sewn to order, so production time varies with demand. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
